General settings

Press [Settings] > [General] on the home screen. General settings screen is displayed.

SW Info/Update

You can see S/W version, FIRMWARE version, NAVI APP version, and MAP version information.

On the general settings screen, press [SW Info/Update].

Software information is applied differently according to the system update time point.

Update

For supplementation of system software, addition of new functions, and renewal of map, update is needed.

You can update latest map and software by downloading the Navigation Updater program from internet site (http://update.genesis.com) and through USB.

For details on update, check from internet site and carry out.

On the general settings screen, press [SW Info/Update].
After inserting the USB with the update file, press [Update].
Update is carried out automatically, and after completion, the system automatically reboots.

,Note

This product requires regular updates for software corrections, new functions and map updates. Updating may require up to 1 hour depending on the data size.
Turning off the power or ejecting the USB during the update process may result in update failure.

[Memory]: It displays the storage information for voice memo currently used in the system.
[What's new]: You can check the information on the newly performed update.
[Modem information]: Checks the modem information.

[GPS time]: Time is automatically set by GPS.
[Set Date/Time]: Sets time applied to the system.
[Time format]: Sets the time format.
[Daylight saving time]: Sets the daylight savings time. When daylight saving time is on, the clock moves forward one hour.

,Note

To manually set the time, use it after changing [GPS time] setting to off.
When [Daylight saving time] is turned on, the clock is adjusted forward one hour.

This menu is used to set the language of the system display and voice language.

This menu is used to change the type of keyboard used within the system for each language.

The set keyboard will be applied to all input modes across the entire system.

,Note

When you adjust the angle of handwriting and touch gesture recognition based on individual posture, Press [Touchpad recognition angle].

This menu is used to change the type of unit used within the system.

[Radio/Media Off at vehicle start-up]: Stops media playback when engine is turning off. Media playback will not resume when engine's started up again.
[Maintain media playback when vehicle is turned Off]: Infotainment system screen will maintain power after turning off the vehicle. To turn off the system, open the vehicle door.
[Track change notifications]: A brief notification for media changes will be displayed whenever media content changes.

You can reset user designated settings.
