Activating navigation

Starting Navigation

Press [HOME] on the front seat control key or press [B]. HOME screen opens.
Press [Map] or Press [MAP] on the head unit. The map screen opens.

Displaying current location

Press [MAP] on the head unit to display the current vehicle location on the map screen.

Simple navigation function

Simple navigation functions are listed for easy access to frequently used functions.

Press the touchpad on the front seat control key to move to simple navigation function screen.

[Home]: A route to the location saved as home is advised.
[Office]: A route to the location saved as office is advised.
Select previous destination to have a route advised to the selected destination.
[Search] : Search a destination by entering the full name or initial, address or coordinates.
[Previous destinations]: Set previous destinations as a destination.
[POI category]: Set the desired facilities as a destination.
[Saved places]: Set [Favourites] or [Saved places] as a destination.
[Nearby POIs]: Set facilities to mark on the map screen.

Changing Map View

Press [] on the map screen.

Select a desired button.

[2D North up]: Displays the map based on the north direction.
[2D heading up]: Displays the map according to the vehicle direction.
[3D head. up]: Displays buildings in 3D.
[Neon]: Displays buildings in 3D Neon.
[AR]: Displays the augmented reality screen including SVM front camera screen, ADAS information and navigation.

,Note

Augmented reality is available on the vehicle which is SVM (Surround View Monitor) option.
Augmented reality may differ from actual one due to the condition of the camera lens or external environment.
The Neon screen changes according to the surrounding environment or GPS time.

Switching Map Scale

Manually Switching Map Scale

Rotate the controller on the front to left/right or zoom in/out with your finger on the map screen to change the map scale.

Automatically Switching Map Scale

The map scale can be automatically set according to the current vehicle speed.

Press []/[] on the map screen.

[]: Fixed scale.
[]: Automatic scale. (Scale changes based on the current vehicle speed)

Navigation Volume

Set the navigation voice guidance volume.

Press [] on the map screen.

Select a desired item.

[J]/[I]: Turn up/Turn down the navigation volume. Or drag the volume control bar to set the volume.
[]/[]: Voice guidance or sound effects are activated. You can mute by pressing the button.
[]: Voice guidance or sound effects are muted. You can activate it by pressing the button.
[Navigation volume priority]: Set the volume of navigation guidance louder than the audio volume.

Navigation Settings

Press [Menu] > [Navigation settings] on the map screen.

For more details, refer to the "Navigation settings".

Previous Destinations Settings

When the navigation starts, the previous destinations and favorite destinations are automatically displayed on the pop-up screen for 10 seconds. On the pop-up screen, press the desired destination and route to start the guidance. (Available only when the destination is not set)

[Favourite destinations]: Shows frequently visited destinations.
[Previous destinations]: Shows previous destinations.
Check the box “Deactivate this pop-up” to do not display the pop-up screen of previous destinations. The setting is also available with [show previous destinations on start] in navigation settings.

Saving Location

The current vehicle locations can be saved.

Press [Menu] > [Save] on the map screen.

Press a desired item.

[Name]: After editing the name, Press [OK].
[Display icon on map]: Select to display the icon on the map.
[Favourite]: Select a favourite category.

Press [Save].

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] > [Favourites] or [Saved places] to check the saved location.

POI

Setting POI Display

Set to display the POI category on the map screen.

Press [Menu] > [Nearby info] > [Nearby POIs] on the map screen.

Select a facility to display on the map.

Searching POI Categories

Press [Menu] > [Nearby info] > [POI category] on the map screen.

Press a desired facility.

Press the desired place in the list.

[Along route]: Search the facility in neighboring area of route.
[Near current position]: Search the facility in neighboring area of the current vehicle location.
[Near destination]: Search the facility in neighboring area of destination or tourpoint.
[Near scroll mark]: Search the facility in neighboring area of selected location.

Home, Office, Favourite

Home, Office or a frequently visited location can be saved/edited in or deleted from favourites.

Saving Favourite

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] > [Favourites] on the map screen.
Select the item to save a place.

Use search menu to save the place.

When setting is completed, press [OK].

,Note

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] > [Favourites] to check Home, Office, 1, 2 or 3.
Refer to "Setting destinations by saved place” for setting of Home, Office, 1, 2 or 3.

Editing Favourite

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] > [Favourites] on the map screen.
Press [Menu] > [Edit].
Select an item to edit.

Select and edit a desired item.

[Display icon on map]: Select to display the icon on the map.
[Favourite]: Select a favourite category.

Press [Save].

Deleting Favourite

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] > [Favourites] on the map screen.
Press [Menu] > [Delete].

Select the desired item, and press [Delete].

[Mark all]: Select all items.
[Unmark all]: Unmark all items.
[Cancel]: Exit the screen.

saved places

Adding frequently visited places enable convenient setting of destinations and editing/deleting saved places.

Adding saved places

Save frequently visited saved places.

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] on the map screen.
Press [Saved places] > [Menu] > [Add].

Use search menu to save the place.

When setting is completed, press [OK] > [Save].

Refer to "Setting destinations by saved place" to set a saved place as a destination.

Editing saved places

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] on the map screen.
Press [Saved places] > [Menu] > [Edit].
Select an item to edit.

[Name]: After editing the name, press [OK].

Press [Save].

Sorting saved places

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] on the map screen.
Press [Saved places] on saved places screen.

Press [Name] or [Date] to sort the list.

Deleting saved places

Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] on the map screen.
Press [Saved places] > [Menu] > [Delete].

Select the desired item, press [Delete].

[Mark all]: Select all items.
[Unmark all]: Unmark all items.
[Cancel]: Exit the screen.

Managing saved place

Importing saved place from USB Memory

This function is used to import saved place saved in a USB memory.

Connect a USB memory to the USB port.
Press [Settings] > [Navigation] > [Automated features] > [User Data] > [Import favourites/previous destinations from USB] on the home screen.
Press [Yes] > [OK].
Press [View] to check saved place imported from USB.

Exporting saved place to USB Memory

This function is used to export saved place to a USB memory.

Connect a USB memory to the USB port.
Press [Settings] > [Navigation] > [Automated features] > [User Data] > [Export favourites/previous destinations to USB] on the home screen.
Press [Yes].

,Note

The data amount imported from a USB memory is limited based on the number of saved places supported by the navigation device.
If the data saved in the USB memory uses different coordinates from the ones used in the current system, the coordinates of saved locations may be changed.
Import function may change previously saved places and favourites in the navigation.
Check if the data is imported well before using the navigation.
Import/Export function may not be supported depending on the USB memory format type.
FAT16, FAT32, exFAT and NTFS are supported.
Some USB memories may not be supported due to compatibility issues.
