Navigation settings

The images displayed on this system may differ from actual ones.

Sets the navigation setting options. Press [Setup] > [Navigation] on the home screen to move to the navigation setting screen.

Display

1. Press [Display] on the navigation setting screen.

2. Press the desired item.

• [Vehicle Speed]: Select to always show the vehicle speed on the map screen.
• [Display Traffic Info]: Sets whether to show traffic information on the 2D or 3D map view.
• [Show Traffic Colors]: Color codes the flow of traffic on a route.
• [Nearby POIs]: Selects which POIs to display on the map.
• [Fuel Price Info]: If checked, displays fuel prices for stations under the average fuel price.

Guidance

1. Press [Guidance] on the navigation setting screen.

2. Press the desired item.

• [Detailed Guidance]: Shows detailed guidance.
• [Set Type of Guide Distance]: Sets the type of distance in the turn-by-turn list.
• [Navigation Voice Guidance]: Sets Voice Guidance preferences.
• [Show Route Overview While Stopped]: Shows the route overview when stopped.
• [Previous Destinations Settings]: Sets the Previous Destinations preferences.

Alerts

1. Press [Alerts] on the navigation setting screen.

2. Press the desired item.

• [Camera Alert Distance]: Sets the camera alert settings. You can select the option about camera guidance when navigation muted, alert distance depending on the vehicle speed, and camera alert distance depending on the road.

Map

1. Press [Map] on the navigation setting screen.

2. Press the desired item.

• [Map Mode]: Sets the map display modes.
• [Map Font Size]: Sets the map font size
• [Map Color]: Sets the map color.
• [Vehicle Symbol Color]: Sets the properties of the vehicle symbol.
• [Set Map Auto-scale]: Sets the map's auto scale zoom level based on the vehicle speed.

Nav. Auto. Features

1. Press [Nav. Auto. Features] on the navigation setting screen.

2. Press the desired item.

• [Auto Re-center Map]: Automatically returns to the current vehicle position on the map after viewing other locations.
• [Return to Map: Timing]: When using navigation guidance while driving, switches from the broadcast/media screen to the map screen automatically after the selected time.
• [User Data]: Saved Places/Previous Destinations can be exchanged between compatible vehicles using a USB device.
• [GPS Information]: Provides GPS information.

,NOTE

The amount of data available for importing to a USB device is limited based on the number of address book items supported by the navigation system. If the data stored on the USB device uses different coordinates than those used by the current system, the importing location may change. Please make sure that the address book have been successfully imported before use. [Return to Map: Timing] is unavailable while using phone projection.
