Configuring the vehicle settings (if equipped)

You can change the settings related to driving or the interior and exterior environment of your vehicle.

Caution

For your safety, park your vehicle in a safe location before changing the settings.

You can change the vehicle settings only when the engine is running.
Depending on the vehicle model or specifications, available options may vary.
Depending on the specifications of your climate control system, some functions may not be supported.

On the All Menus screen, press Setup > Vehicle.

The Vehicle Settings screen will appear.

Select an option to change.

Drive Mode

You can change the settings related to driving environment of your vehicle.

CUSTOM

You can select the drive modes optimized for your driving habits or the road conditions.

Powertrain: Select a powertrain mode to adjust the engine and transmission.

ECO: This drive mode is for optimum fuel efficiency.
COMFORT: This drive mode is optimized for a comfortable ride.
SPORT: This drive mode is optimized for dynamic driving.

Steering: Select a steering mode to optimize your steering wheel control.

COMFORT: This drive mode is for smooth steering.
SPORT: This drive mode is for agile steering.

Suspension: Select a suspension mode for an optimal ride.

COMFORT: This drive mode configures the suspension for a balanced ride.
SPORT: This drive mode configures the suspension for a steady and dynamic ride.

AWD: Select a four-wheel drive mode.

ECO: This drive mode is for optimum fuel efficiency.
COMFORT: This drive mode is optimized for a comfortable ride.
SPORT: This drive mode is optimized for dynamic driving.

Drive Mode Change Alert

You can set to display a notification when you change your vehicle's drive mode.

Detailed Alert: When you change the drive mode, a detailed notification will be displayed with the vehicle image.
Simple Alert: When you change the drive mode, a brief notification will be displayed at the top of the screen.
Off: When you change the drive mode, no notification will be displayed.

Active Sound Design (if equipped)

You can activate or deactivate the engine sound feature which makes a virtual engine sound.

Caution

For your safety, park your vehicle at a safe location and shift to "P" (Park) before setting the engine sound effect.

Note

If you replace the vehicle's amplifier or speaker arbitrarily, this function may not work correctly.

Climate (if equipped)

You can change the vehicle′s climate control settings.

Automatic Ventilation

You can set the system to activate automatic air ventilation to maintain a comfortable environment when the air in the vehicle is stuffy.

Smart Ventilation: Set to expel air from the vehicle automatically as needed, such as when the air becomes too humid, when the climate control system is turned off.

Defog/Defrost Options

You can change the defog/defrost settings.

Auto Defog: Automatically activates various defog functions based on the level of humidity in the vehicle cabin.

Coasting

You can enable coasting while driving to improve fuel efficiency.
The engine will be disengaged from the transmission while coasting in ECO mode when the coasting conditions are met.

Smart Posture Care

You can enter your body measurements to analyze your posture and adjust the driver′s seat to change to the optimal posture.

Seat Position Change Alert

You can set the system to display a notification when you change the position, height, or angle of the driver′s seat.
