Using the climate control system (if equipped)

You can check and control the current status of the climate control system via the system screen.

On your vehicle’s climate control system, press the [CLIMATE] button.

Note

For more information on how to use the climate control system, refer to the owner′s manual of your vehicle.
If you operate the climate control system while using your system, the climate control settings are displayed at the top of the screen.

Return to the previous level.

Display the options list.

Display Off: Turn off the screen. Press the screen to turn it back on.
Settings: Customize the climate control settings.

Exterior temperature

Air direction you set

Interior temperature (passenger's seat)

Interior temperature (driver's seat)

Automatic temperature control, activated or deactivated

Air conditioner, turned on or off

Fan speed and additional functions you set

Temperature synchronization between the driver's seat and the passenger's seat, activated or deactivated

Note

The interior temperature is displayed in units of 0.5 °C.
The AUTO mode will be deactivated automatically in the following situations:

When you adjust the fan speed or direction
When you turn on or off the air conditioner
When you activate the front windshield defroster

Depending on the vehicle model or specifications, displayed screens and available options may vary.

Using automatic ventilation

When cabin humidity increases while the climate control system is off, air is expelled automatically from the vehicle to maintain a comfortable environment.

On your vehicle’s climate control system, press the [CLIMATE] button.

On the climate control screen, press Setup ► Smart Ventilation and activate the function.

Using the auto defog system

When fog forms on the windshield, the climate control system will operate the air conditioner automatically to clear the fog.

On your vehicle’s climate control system, press the [CLIMATE] button.

On the climate control screen, press Setup ► Auto Defog and activate the function.

When fog is detected and the auto defog system starts functioning, will appear on the screen.

Note

Once the auto defog system is activated, some buttons of the climate control system will be locked. If you adjust the air direction, the button will be unlocked automatically.

Turning the rear seat climate control system on or off (if equipped)

You can turn the rear seat climate control system on or off via the system screen.

On your vehicle’s climate control system, press the [CLIMATE] button.

On the climate control screen, press Setup ► Rear Climate Control and activate the function.
