Using In-Car Payment
In-Car Payment is an easy payment service that lets you make payments without a physical card at participating gas stations, charging stations, and parking facilities. To use In-Car Payment, you must first sign up for the service.
To use the service, first check the following:
Signing up for the In-Car Payment service
Install the MY GENESIS app on your smartphone and sign up for the service. (Please refer to "Signing up for the Service".)
Registering your vehicle and payment card
Register your vehicle and payment card with the MY GENESIS app. (Please refer to "Selecting a Vehicle for Payment" and "Registering a Payment Card".)
Checking user profile settings
Link your MY GENESIS service account to your user profile and then log in with that profile.

All In-Car Payment functions are provided through the MY GENESIS app. To use the functions, you must first install the MY GENESIS app and sign up for the In-Car Payment service.

The payment card previously registered will be deleted from the app. After signing up for the In-Car Payment service, register your payment card again in the app. (Please refer to "Registering a Payment Card".)

You can only register vehicles and payment cards that are supported by In-Car Payment. Vehicles purchased overseas do not support In-Car Payment.

Tap > MenuOnline Manual > In-car Payment and scan the QR code with your smartphone to see the user manual.
Service restrictions
The In-Car Payment service is provided via the mobile network and may be restricted depending on network conditions. You can check the mobile network signal strength by looking at the signal bars (
) at the top of the system screen.

You can use the In-Car Payment service seamlessly when you have four or more signal bars.

In the following locations, use of the In-Car Payment service may be limited depending on network conditions.

Inside a building or tunnel

Mountain areas or heavily forested roads
-
Roads close to cliffs
-
Building concentrated area
-
Roads passing under highway or overpasses
-
No-service areas due to the mobile carrier's network coverage policy

Paying for fuel fee (if equipped)
You can pay fuel fees using your registered payment card at gas stations affiliated with In-Car Payment.

You can use the In-Car Payment service only at affiliated stores.

Tap In-car Payment on the home screen to view nearby affiliated stores and set one as your destination.

Depending on your vehicle's fuel type, In-Car Payment may not support certain payments.

Press In-car Payment on the home screen.

Do one of the following to open the In-Car Payment screen.

Check the gas stations that support In-Car Payment and set one as your destination. After arriving at the gas station, tap Yes on the payment pop-up to open the payment screen.
To change the sorting order of the search results, tap the sorting button and select the desired criterion.

On the map, select a nearby gas station affiliated with In-Car Payment, and tap [
] to enter the payment screen.

The information on the affiliated gas station displayed on the map may not be accurate.

Enable the display of nearby facilities to show stations affiliated with In-Car Payment.

Select payment/fuel amounts, fuel type, payment card, and the points to use, and tap Pay.

If you select Fill-up to charge to the maximum amount, or if the payment/fuel amounts you selected are less than the actual payment/fuel amounts, the use of points may be restricted.

To receive membership discounts and points, first register your membership information in the MY GENESIS app. (Please refer to "Registering and Enabling your Membership".)

Accumulating/using points is subject to each affiliates' point policy.

Enter your payment password to complete the payment.
If you entered an incorrect password five times in a row, tap 마이 > 인카페이먼트 in the MY GENESIS app to reset your payment password.

Make a payment using the appropriate method for the gas station type, and then refuel your vehicle.

In case of a self-filling gas station

On the injector screen, press In-car Payment and then enter the last 4 digits of the vehicle's license number. Select order details in the search list and start filling.

In case of a general gas station

When you tell the attendant that you paid via In-car Payment, the attendant starts filling after confirmation.

Paying Charging Fees (if equipped)
You can pay charging fees using your registered payment card at charging stations affiliated with In-Car Payment.

You can use the In-Car Payment service only at affiliated stores.

Tap In-car Payment on the home screen to view nearby affiliated stores and set one as your destination.

Depending on your vehicle's fuel type, In-Car Payment may not support certain payments.

Press In-car Payment on the home screen.

For fast charging, press In-car Payment on the charger screen, then connect the charging cable to your vehicle. Your payment will be authorized automatically, and charging will start immediately. For slow charging, press In-car Payment on the charger screen and enter the last four digits of the vehicle's license plate number. When the list appears, select your order to start charging.

Paying Parking Fees
You can pay parking fees using the registered payment card in parking lots affiliated with In-Car Payment.

You can use the In-Car Payment service only in stores affiliated with In-Car Payment.

You can tap In-car Payment on the home screen to see affiliated stores near the vehicle and set one as your destination.

Press In-car Payment on the home screen.

Find parking lots that support In-Car Payment and set one as your destination. When entering an affiliated parking lot, information such as basic and additional charges will be displayed.
To change the sorting order of the search results, tap the sorting button and select the desired criterion.

Tap Yes in the payment pop-up that appears when you start the vehicle.
To open the payment screen, select the parking lot on the map and tap [
]. -
Check the parking fee, select your payment card and tap Pay.

Select the points or discount coupon you want to use, then enter your payment password to complete the payment. Make sure your payment is complete at the exit booth, then leave the parking lot.

If you select a paper discount coupon when making the payment, you must present the coupon at the exit booth to receive the discount refund. The refund will appear in your card's payment details within 2 to 3 business days, depending on your card issuer's policy. If you don’t see the refunded amount in the payment details, please contact your card issuer's customer service.

To use membership points, first register your membership information in the MY GENESIS app. (Please refer to "Registering and Enabling your Membership".)

If you entered an incorrect password five times in a row, tap 마이 > 인카페이먼트 in the MY GENESIS app to reset your payment password.

If you stay in the parking lot too long after making the payment, you may have to pay an extra fee at the exit booth.

If you have registered your parking fee discount benefits (e.g., person of national merit, compliant taxpayer) in the iParking app, the discount will be automatically applied to your payment amount.

To register your discount benefits in the iParking app, tap 메뉴 > 내 정보 > 감면 조건 관리 > +, then select and register the discount benefits.

Viewing Payment History
You can view your In-Car Payment transaction details from the past 30 days on the system screen.
Up to 50 transactions are stored in the system.

Press In-car Payment on the home screen.

Tap My Purchase to view your transaction details.
Signing up for the Service
You can sign up for the service through MY GENESIS app.

To sign up for the In-Car Payment service, you need to complete the authentication process. Users of company-owned vehicles can also sign up by linking their vehicles to their accounts.

The In-Car Payment screens may change without notice due to app updates.

In the MY GENESIS app, tap 마이 > 인카페이먼트.

Tap [시작하기] and follow the instructions to sign up for the service.
Selecting a Vehicle for Payment

In the MY GENESIS app, tap 마이 > 인카페이먼트 > 차량관리 > 결제차량.

Information about the vehicles registered with the MY GENESIS service appears automatically.

You can select only one vehicle as the payment vehicle at a time. For security reasons, you can use the In-Car Payment service only in the vehicle selected as the payment vehicle.

Enter the name of the representative owner of the selected vehicle and its license plate number, and tap 확인.
You must enter the same information as that used to register your vehicle to complete the registration.

Check whether your vehicle appears as ‘Payment Vehicle’ on the In-Car Payment home screen.

Make sure the vehicle you want to use is selected as ‘Payment Vehicle’.

Make sure that your current user profile is linked to your MY GENESIS account. To link your user profile to your MY GENESIS account, tap Setup > User Profile > MY GENESIS Account on the home screen.

Registering a Payment Card

In the MY GENESIS app, tap 마이 > 월렛.
You can only register a credit card or debit card issued in your name.

Select a credit card company and enter your card information.

Enter the payment password.
Registering and Enabling your Membership

In the MY GENESIS app, tap 마이 > 월렛 to register your membership.

For each affiliated store, choose whether to earn points and whether to use them. When you are finished, tap 저장.

To use points during payment, you need to register your membership first and set it up for each affiliated store.

Accumulating/using points is subject to each affiliates' point policy.

Viewing Payment Details
You can view details of payments made using In-Car Payment at affiliated stores.
In the MY GENESIS app, tap 마이 > 인카페이먼트 > 더보기 > 사용내역.
You can view payment details for each card or store.
Select a store or time period, then tap [조회하기] to retrieve the transaction details.
Canceling Payments
You can cancel payments made using In-Car Payment at affiliated stores (e.g., for refueling, charging, or parking fees).
In the MY GENESIS app, tap 마이 > 인카페이먼트 > 더보기 > 사용내역. Select the payment you want to cancel, then cancel it at the affiliated store.
Changing/Withdrawing Membership
If the vehicle's owner or lessee changes because of a sale, transfer, etc., the previous owner must withdraw their membership and the new owner must sign up for the service under their own name.
In the MY GENESIS app, tap 마이 > 인카페이먼트 > 더보기 > 설정 > 서비스 해지 to withdraw your membership.
