Car to Home

Car to home is a function to remotely control various electronic devices connected to the smart home system by linking with Genesis Connected Service.

In user's car, user can turn on or off air conditioners, boilers, lights, and devices connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) at home or in the office.

Press Car to Home on the home screen.

  • A user links the Genesis connected service account, logs in to the MY GENESIS app and goes to 설정 > 카투홈 > 계정연결 and the user can use it only when the account is linked to a subscribed service provider.

  • After the account is linked, a user can press the Update button to see the latest device list and status.

  • The device's power and temperature settings can be set (for air conditioners and heaters) by pressing the device card in the device list of Car to home service.

  • In the MY GENESIS app, a user sets the go-out mode, return mode, and device items in each mode and the status of the device the wants to set and can control the devices set by using go-out mode and return mode in the car to home service.

  • If there are two or more linked service providers, user can press [] > Service Provider to check only the device list of the desired service provider.
