Making a phone call by entering the number

Press [J] on the screen.

Enter the phone number on dial pad.
Pressing [U] on dial pad or [W] on steering wheel remote control starts the phone call.

In case of entering a wrong number, press [N] to delete each digit. Pressing and holoding [N] deletes all entered numbers.
Pressing and holding [] on dial pad enters '+'.
Phone call is available by entering only a part of the phone number.

ex) When '010' is entered, all contact numbers including '010' are listed on the right screen. Press the desired contact to place a call.

Making Phone Calls via Voice Recognition

If you change the language displayed on the system to English, the voice recognition feature is not supported. Change the system language to 한국어. For more details, refer to the "Language".

Press [] on the screen. The voice says "이름을 말씀해주세요”.
If you hear a beep after the voice guidance, speak the desired frequency. (ex: 홍길동)

The voice recognition icon can only operate on the recent call screen, the contacts screen, and the emergency call screen.

Making Phone Calls via Speed Dial

Press and hold the speed dial no. registered in the phone long on dial pad on dial screen.

In case of 1 digit speed dial

ex) If it's 8, press and hold 8.

In case of 2 digit speed dial

ex) If it's 12, press 1 shortly and press and hold 2.

Making Phone Calls via Re-Dial

On call waiting screen (No phone number is entered), press and hold [U] on dial pad screen or
[W] of steering wheel remote control to connect to the most recent call number.

Re-dial is not available if no phone call has been made or a Bluetooth phone is not connected.
On call waiting screen (No phone number is entered), press [U] on dial pad screen or [W] on steering wheel remote control to enter to the most recent call number.

Receiving Phone Calls

To receive an incoming call, press [Accept] on the screen or [W] on steering wheel remote control.

The call is connected.

Rejecting Phone Calls

To reject an incoming call, press [Reject] on the screen or press and hold [W] on steering wheel remote control.

Responding with incoming text

If you want to respond with a text message, press the [Message] on the screen.

Select the desired character and press the [Send].

Holding Phone Calls

To hold an incoming call, press [Hold] on the screen.

The call is switched over to hold mode and moves to the previous screen.

Switching Calls to Mobile Phone/Hands-free

Switches a call from Hands-free to mobile phone or vice versa.

To switch from Hands-free to, mobile phone during a phone conversation,

press [P Use Handsfree] on the screen.

A screen notifying the call has been switched to mobile phone opens.

To switch from mobile phone to Hands-free during a phone conversation again,

press [O Use Handsfree] on the screen.

Hanging up Calls

To finish a phone conversation, press [ End] on the screen or [W] on steering wheel remote control.

The phone is hung up.

To control the mic volume during a phone conversation, press [].
To cut the sound delivered to the other party during a phone conversation, press [].
To open dial pad during a phone conversation, press [J].

Setting Bluetooth

Press [Setup] > [Device Connections] > [Device Connections] on the home screen. Device connection settings screen opens.
