General Information on Navigation

Precautions for Safety

• Operation of navigation may interfere the attention to the front while driving and cause a traffic accident. Therefore, Do not operate the device while driving.
• Do not the navigation screen continuously while driving. May cause a traffic accident.
• Complies with the actual traffic regulations when driving. Driving only by the navigation guide may result a violation of the actual traffic regulations and cause a traffic accident.
• Some features are not operated while driving due to the safety.
• Information such as roads, place names, and facilities may change in real time, resulting in discrepancies with actual information.
• The route specified to guide to the destination is to reference to the surrounding area of destination. The rough is not necessarily the shortest or fastest route or a route with not traffic jam.
• The vehicle location can be marked on a spot different from the actual spot. The vehicle location may be inaccurately displayed due to satellite positioning data reception, and current vehicle conditions such as the driving location and driving conditions. Additionally, in cases where map data differs from actual road shapes, such as newly constructed roads, the vehicle location display may be inaccurate. However, even if the vehicle location display deviates, it will automatically correct itself as you continue driving, using the current location and map data. In some cases, it may take a few minutes
• This system displays the vehicle's current location using satellite-based positioning information, various sensors in the vehicle, and map data. However, the current location of the vehicle may differ from reality in situations where the vehicle is indoors or in areas with many a high-rise building, or when the weather affects the accuracy of location data.
• For situational awareness and accident prevention, adjust the volume appropriately when using the system while driving.
• The voice guidance may differ from the actual situation, so please drive according to the actual traffic regulations.

Regarding Maps

Information on roads, locations, facilities and fees may differ from actual conditions at the time of map data update.

Toll fees displayed by the system may differ from the actual fees due to various discount and surcharge policies of toll road operators, including fee adjustments.

Map data is continuously updated to ensure the most accurate information is available. However, due to real-time variations in road, place name, facility information, and fees, the actual information may differ. Please be aware of this. Roads with a width of less than 3 meters are generally not included in the map data. Roads determined to be less than 3 meters wide due to construction or new surveys may be removed during map data updates.

When vehicle's current location information is not available

In the following situations, the current location information of the vehicle may be unavailable:

• The satellite signals are interfered or blocked by buildings and/or tunnels.
• The satellite signals are interfered or blocked by objects placed on the GPS antenna.
• The satellites do not transmit signals.
