Activating navigation

Starting navigation

  1. Press HOME on the front seat control key or press []. The home screen opens.

  2. Press Map on the home screen or Press MAP on the head unit. The map screen opens.

Displaying current location

Press MAP on the head unit to display the current vehicle location on the map screen.

Simple navigation functions

Simple navigation functions are listed for easy access to frequently used functions.

Press the touchpad on the front seat control key to move to simple navigation function screen.

  • Home: Recommends a route to home.

  • Office: Recommends a route to workplace.

  • Select previous destination to have a route advised to the selected destination.

  • Search: Search a destination by entering the full name or initial, phone number or address.

  • Previous destinations: Set previous destinations as a destination.

  • Search POI: Set the desired facilities as a destination.

  • Address book: Set saved locations as a destination.

Changing map view

The Map is displayed based on the vehicle direction or the North direction.

  1. Press [] on the map screen.

  2. Press the desired button.

    • 2D North up: Displays the map based on the north direction.

    • 2D heading up: Displays the map according to the vehicle direction.

    • 3D heading up: Displays buildings in 3D.

    • Neon: Displays buildings in 3D Neon.

    • AR: Displays the augmented reality screen including SVM front camera screen, ADAS information and navigation.

  • Augmented reality is available on the vehicle which is SVM (Surround View Monitor) option.

  • Augmented reality may differ from actual one due to the condition of the camera lens or external environment. Drive carefully.

  • The Neon screen changes according to the surrounding environment or GPS time.

Switching map scale

Manually switching map scale

Rotate the controller on the front to left/right or zoom in/out with your finger on the map screen to change the map scale.

Automatically switching map scale

The map scale can be automatically set/canceled according to the current vehicle speed.

Press []/[] on the map screen.

  • [] Auto Inactivation: Fixed scale

  • [] Auto Activation: Automatic scale (Scale changes based on the current vehicle speed)

Navigation volume

Set the volume of voice guidance of navigation.

  1. Press the button at the bottom of the map screen.

    • Voice guidance: Set the volume of the voice guidance.

    • Sound effects: Set the volume of the beeps/sounds effect.

    • Navigation prioritised: Lowering of all audio volumes during playback of navigation prompts.

  2. Select a Voice guidance or Sound effects.

  3. Select a desired button.

    • []/[]: Turn up/Turn down the navigation volume. Or drag the volume control bar to set the volume.

    • []/[]: Voice guidance or sound effects are activated. You can mute by pressing the button.

    • []/[]: Voice guidance or sound effects are muted. You can activate it by pressing the button.

    • []: Press the button to return to the previous screen.

Navigation settings

  1. Press [] > Navigation settings on the map screen.

  2. For more details, refer to the "Navigation settings".

Previous destinations settings

At the start of navigation, the previous destinations and favourite destinations are automatically displayed on the pop-up screen for 10 seconds. On the pop-up screen, press the desired destination and route to start the guidance.

  • Favourite destinations: Shows frequently visited destinations.

  • Previous destinations: Shows previous destinations.

  • Check the box Deactivate this pop-up. to do not display the pop-up screen of previous destinations. The setting is also available with Previous destinations settings in the navigation settings.

Saving Location

The current vehicle locations can be saved.

  1. Press [] > Add to address book on the map screen.

  2. Press a desired item.

    • Name: After editing the name, Press OK.

    • Display icon on map: Select to display the icon on the map.

    • Favourite: Select a favourite group to save the location.

  3. Press Save.

Press [] > Destination > Address book to check the saved location.

POI

Setting POI display

Set to display the POI category on the map screen.

  1. Press [] > Nearby info > Nearby POI on the map screen.

  2. Select a facilities to display on the map screen.

Searching POI categories

  1. Press [] > Nearby info > Search POI on the map screen.

  2. Press a desired facility.

  3. Select a desired list.

    • Along route: Search the facility in neighboring area of route.

    • Near current pos.: Search the facility in neighboring area of the current vehicle location.

    • Near destination: Search the facility in neighboring area of destination or tourpoint.

    • Near map centre: Search the facility in neighboring area of selected location.

    • Favourite stations (If equipped): Add favourite EV stations you want to go.

Depending on the third-party service provider, basic information or status information on some charging stations may differ.

Home, Office, Favourite

Home, Office or a frequently visited location can be saved/edited in or deleted from favourites.

Saving Favourite

Set to display the POI category on the map screen.

  1. Press [] > Destination > Address book > Favourites on the map screen.

  2. Press a desired item.

  3. Use search menu to save Home, Office, Favourite 1, Favourite 2 or Favourite 3.

  4. When setting is completed, press OK.

  • Press [] > Destination > Address book > Favourites to check Home, Office, Favourite 1, Favourite 2 or Favourite 3.

  • Refer to "Setting destination by address book” for setting of Home, Office, Favourite 1, Favourite 2 or Favourite 3.

Editing Favourite

  1. Press [] > Destination > Address book > Favourites on the map screen.

  2. Press [] > Edit.

  3. Select an item to edit.

  4. Select and edit a desired item.

    • Display icon on map: Select to display the icon on the map.

    • Favourite: Select a favourite group to save the location.

  5. Press Save.

Deleting Favourite

  1. Press [] > Destination > Address book > Favourites on the map screen.

  2. Press [] > Delete.

  3. Select the desired item, and press Delete.

    • Mark all: Select all items.

    • Unmark all: Unmark all items.

    • Cancel: Exit the screen.

Address book

Saving an interested location enables convenient setting of destinations and editing/deleting saved locations.

Saving address book

Save frequently visited locations.

  1. Press [] > Destination > Address book > Address book on the map screen.

  2. Press Add location on the address book screen.

  3. Set a desired location by using search menu.

  4. When setting is completed, press OK.

Refer to "Setting destination by address book" to set a saved location as a destination.

Editing saved address book

  1. Press [] > Destination > Address book > Address book on the map screen.

  2. Press [] > Edit on the address book screen.

  3. Select an item to edit.

  4. Select and Edit a desired item.

    • Name: After editing the name, Press OK.

    • Display icon on map: Select to display the icon on the map.

    • Favourite: Select a favourite group to save the location.

  5. Press Save.

Deleting saved address book

  1. Press [] > Destination > Address book > Address book on the map screen.

  2. Press [] > Delete on the address book screen.

  3. Select the desired item, and press Delete.

    • Mark all: Select all items.

    • Unmark all: Unmark all items.

    • Cancel: Exit the screen.

Managing address book (If equipped)

Import favourites and previous destinations from USB

This function is used to import address book saved in a USB memory.

  1. Connect a USB Memory to the USB port.

  2. Press Settings > Navigation > Automated features > My data > Import favourites and previous destinations from USB on the home screen.

  3. Press Yes.

  4. Press OK, or press View to check imported locations.

Export favourites and previous destinations to USB

This function is used to export address book to a USB memory.

  1. Connect a USB Memory to the USB port.

  2. Press Settings > Navigation > Automated features > My data > Export favourites and previous destinations to USB on the home screen.

  3. Press Yes.

  • The data amount imported from a USB memory is limited based on the number of saved locations supported by the navigation device.

  • If the data saved in the USB memory uses different coordinates from the ones used in the current system, the coordinates of saved locations may be changed.

  • Import function may change previously saved locations and favourites in the navigation.

  • Check if the data is imported well before using the navigation.

  • Import/Export function may not be supported depending on the USB memory format type.

  • FAT16, FAT32, exFAT and NTFS are supported.

  • Some USB memories may not be supported due to compatibility issues.
