Making phone calls

Making a phone call by entering the number

1. Press [Phone] > [J] on the home screen.

2. Enter the phone number on dial pad.
3. Press [U] on the screen. Or press [W] on the steering wheel remote control.

,Note

In case of entering a wrong number, press [N] to delete each digit. Press and hold [N] deletes all entered numbers. Press and hold the number [0], '+' is entered in the number input window. Phone call is available by entering only a part of the phone number.

Making phone calls via speed dial

1. Press [Phone] > [J] on the home screen.
2. Press and hold the speed dial number registered in the phone.

• Ex) If the speed dial number is 8 (one digit), press and hold '8'.
• Ex) If the speed dial number is 12 (two digits), short press '1' and long press '2'.

3. Calls the speed dial number.

,Note

Some mobile phone models may not support this feature.

Making phone calls via re-dial

1. Press [Phone] > [J] on the home screen.
2. Press and hold [U] on the screen.
3. Calls the most recently dialed phone number.

,Note

Re-dial is not available if no phone call has been made or a Bluetooth phone is not connected. Press [U] shortly on the dial screen, the most recently dialed phone number is entered in the number input window.

Receiving phone calls

1. To receive an incoming call, press [Accept] on the screen or [W] on the steering wheel remote control.

2. The call is connected.

Rejecting phone calls

1. To reject an incoming call, press [Reject] on the screen or press and hold [W] on the steering wheel remote control.

2. The call is rejected.

Some mobile phone models may not support this feature.

Responding with incoming text

1. Press [Messages] on the screen, respond to incoming calls by text message.

2. Select the desired character and press the [Send].

Switching calls to mobile phone/hands-free

Switches a call from hands-free to mobile phone or vice versa.

1. To switch from hands-free to mobile phone during a phone conversation,

press [P Use private] on the screen.

2. A screen notifying the call has been switched to mobile phone opens.

3. To switch from mobile phone to hands-free during a phone conversation again,

press [O Use hands-free] on the screen.

Hanging up Calls

1. To finish a phone conversation, press [ End] on the screen or [W] on the steering wheel remote control.

2. The phone is hung up.

,Note

To cut the sound delivered to the other party during a phone conversation, press []. To control the mic volume during a phone conversation, press []. To open dial pad during a phone conversation, press [J].
