Navigation settings

The images displayed on this system may differ from actual ones.

Move to navigation settings screen

Press [Setup] > [Navigation] on the home screen.

The navigation settings screen is displayed.

Display

1. Press [Display] on the navigation settings screen.

2. Press the desired menu.

• [Vehicle Speed]: Select to always show the vehicle speed on the map screen.
• [Display Traffic Info]: Sets whether to show traffic information on the 2D or 3D map view.
• [Show Traffic Colors]: Color codes the flow of traffic on a route.
• [Nearby POIs]: Selects which POIs to display on the map.
• [Fuel Price Info.]: Sets the fuel price information.

Guidance

1. Press [Guidance] on the navigation settings screen.

2. Press the desired menu.

• [Detailed Guidance]: Provides an enlarged and detailed view for turns and maneuvers.
• [Set Type of Guide Distance]: Set the type of distance on the turn-by-turn list.
• [Navigation Voice Guidance]: Set the voice guidance.
• [Show Route Overview While Stopped]: Shows route overview while the vehicle is stopped.
• [Previous Destinations Settings]: Set about previous destinations.

Alerts

1. Press [Alerts] on the navigation settings screen.

2. Press the desired menu.

Map

1. Press [Map] on the navigation settings screen.

2. Press the desired menu.

• [Map Mode]: Sets the map display options.
• [Map Font Size]: Set the font size of the map.
• [Map Color]: Sets the map color theme.
• [Vehicle Symbol Color]: Set the vehicle symbol color.
• [Set Map Auto-scale]: Set auto scale based on the vehicle speed.

Nav. Auto. Features

1. Press [Nav. Auto. Features] on the navigation settings screen.

2. Press the desired menu.

• [Auto Re-center Map]: Automatically returns to the current location after scrolling the map.
• [Return to Map: Timing]: After the selected time, the system automatically switches from radio/media to the navigation map screen.
• [User Data]: Saved addresses/previous destinations can be exchanged between compatible vehicles using a USB device.
• [GPS Information]: Provides GPS information.

,Note

The number of data imported from USB may be limited by the number of saved places currently supported by Navigation system. If the data saved in USB uses different coordinate system from the current system, the imported place may be different from previous places. Check if the data is imported well before using the navigation.
