Navigation settings

The images displayed on this system may differ from actual ones.

Set items to display or guide item on navigation the map screen.

Press [Setup] > [Navigation] on the home screen. Navigation screen is displayed.

Map

1. On the navigation setting screen, press [Map].

2. Press the desired item.

• [Map Display]: Sets the map display modes.
• [Map Font Size]: Sets the map font size
• [Map Color]: Sets the map color.
• [POI Display]: Selects the facility icon(s) to display on the map.
• [Vehicle Symbol Color]: Sets the properties of the vehicle symbol.
• [Set Map Auto-scale]: Sets the map's auto scale zoom level based on the vehicle speed.

Display

1. On the navigation settings screen, press [Display].

2. Press the desired item.

• [Information]: Sets the options about traffic colors, vehicle speed and detailed guidance view.
• [Return to Map: Timing]: When using navigation guidance while driving, switches from the broadcast/media screen to the map screen automatically after the selected time.
• [Fuel Price Info.]: If checked, displays fuel prices for stations under the average fuel price.
• [Auto Re-center Map]: Automatic returns to the current vehicle position on the map after viewing other locations.

Guidance

1. On the navigation settings screen, press [Guidance].

2. Press the desired item.

• [Show Guidance Distance]: Sets the type of distance in the turn-by-turn list. Selects [Interval Distance] or [Cumulative Distance].
• [Voice Guidance]: If checked, mutes voice navigation upon approaching the destination area, if location has been previously registered as one of [Saved Place].
• [Show Route Overview While Stopped]: Shows route overview while stopped.

Alerts

1. On the navigation settings screen, press [Alerts].

2. Press the desired item.

• [Camera Alert Distance]: Sets the camera alert settings. You can select the option about camera guidance when navigation muted, alert distance depending on the vehicle speed, and camera alert distance depending on the road.

Others

1. On the navigation settings screen, press [Others].

2. Press the desired item.

• [Previous Destinations Settings]: Sets the items related with previous destination.
• [User Data]: Imports or exports saved place and previous destination from or to USB device.
• [GPS Information]: Provides GPS information.

,NOTE

The amount of data available for importing to a USB device is limited based on the number of address book items supported by the navigation system. If the data stored on the USB device uses different coordinates than those used by the current system, the importing location may change. Please make sure that the address book have been successfully imported before use.
