Setting Destinations for Navigation

Destination Search Screen

Press [Menu] > [Destination] on the map screen.

Search

The search results by the POI name, address, coordinates, or ZIP code are specified on the map screen.

Previous Destination

A destination is searched by [Freq.Visited Points], [Destinations], [Searches].

Saved Places

Searches a destination registered in saved places menu.

+ Home/Home

• Saves home at the saved places.
• Searches registered home as a destination.

+ Work/Work

• Save work at the saved places.
• Searches registered work as a destination.

Setting Destinations by Search

Sets a destination by entering the POI name, address, coordinates, or ZIP code.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Search] on the map screen.

2. Press [h] after entering the POI name, address, coordinates, ZIP code.

3. Press the desired item in the list.

4. Select the desired item.

• [Set as Destination]: Sets the destination.
• [Add Waypoint]: Adds waypoint after setting destination.
• [Save]: Adds the location to saved place menu.
• [Nearby POIs]: Sets to display the POI category on the map screen.
• [Parking]: Displays the parking lot around the destination.
• [Call]: Makes a phone call. If no phone number is saved or Bluetooth is not connected, the call is not available.
• [Display Off]: Turns off the screen.
• [Web Manual]: Displays the QR code for the manual of corresponding function.
• [Split Screen]: Displays split screen selection menu.

5. Press [Set as Destination].

6. Press a desired route. ([Recommended], [Alternate])

• [Recommended]: Guides the optimal route to the destination.
• [Alternate]: Guides the alternate route to the destination.

7. Start guidance.

,NOTE

You can move to the destination setting screen also by pressing [h] > [Search] at the bottom of the map screen.

Setting Destinations by Previous Destinations

Sets the destination to the previous destination.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Previous Destinations] on the map screen.

2. Press the desired location in the list.

• [Freq. Visited Points]: Shows frequently visited destinations.
• [Destinations]: Shows locations recently set as destinations.
• [Searches]: Shows recently searched locations.

3. Refer to the step 4 to 6 of "Setting Destinations by Search" for follow-up actions.

Setting Destinations by Saved Place

Sets the location registered in saved place as the destination.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved Places] on the map screen.

2. Press the desired location in the list.

• [Favorites]: Shows locations saved in favorite.
• [Saved Places]: Shows locations saved in saved place.

3. Refer to the step 4 to 6 of "Setting Destinations by Search" for follow-up actions.

Setting Destination with Home/Work

Sets the location saved in [Home]/[Work] as the destination.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved Places] > [Favorites] > [Home] or [Work] on the map screen.

2. Refer to the step 4 to 6 of "Setting Destinations by Search" for follow-up actions.

Setting Destinations by POI

Sets the destination through various facility categories.

1. Press [Navigation Menu] > [Destination] on the home screen.

2. Press [POI Categories].

3. Press a desired item. (Ex: Parking)

• [Along Route]: Searches the facility in neighboring area of route.
• [Near Current Position]: Searches the facility in neighboring area of the current vehicle location.
• [Near Destination]: Searches the facility in neighboring area of destination or waypoint.
• [Near Center of Map]: Searches the facility in neighboring area of selected location.
• [Near City Center]: Searches the facility in neighboring area of city center.

4. Select a desired list.
5. Refer to the step 4 to 6 of "Setting Destinations by Search" for follow-up actions.

Setting Destinations by Genesis Dealerships

You can find the facilities of Genesis services as the destination.

1. Press [Navigation Menu] > [Destination] on the home screen.

2. Press [Genesis Dealerships].

3. Press a desired item.

• [Along Route]: Searches the repair shops in neighboring area of route.
• [Near Current Position]: Searches the repair shops in neighboring area of the current vehicle location.
• [Near Destination]: Searches the repair shops in neighboring area of destination or waypoint.
• [Near Center of Map]: Searches the repair shops in neighboring area of selected location.
• [Near City Center]: Searches the repair shops in neighboring area of city center.

4. Refer to the step 4 to 6 of "Setting Destinations by Search" for follow-up actions.

,NOTE

If the connected service is connected, the dealer information can be searched from server.

Setting Destinations via Scroll

Sets a destination on the currently displayed map.

1. Select a desired location or push touchpad to up/down/left/right on the map screen. The location is specified at the center of map.

2. Press [Menu].

3. Refer to the step 4 to 6 of "Setting Destinations by Search" for follow-up actions.

,NOte

If the map is moved by scroll, the map is fixed and not moving even when the vehicle moves. Press [MAP] button on the head unit to return to the map of the current position. You can set the option that the map is automatically return to the current position after a certain time period. Press [Setup] > [Navigation] > [Display] and check the box of [Auto Re-center Map]. When the map is moved by scrolling, the location name is specified at the top of screen.
