Setting destinations

Destination Search Screen

Press [Menu] > [Destination] on the map screen.

Search

Set a destination by entering the POI name, address or coordinates.

Previous destinations

Set a previous destination as a destination.

Saved place

Set the saved places as a destination.

+ Home/Home

• Save home as favourites.
• Set saved home as a destination.

+ Office/Office

• Save office as favourites.
• Set saved office as a destination.

Setting destinations by search

Set a destination by entering the full name or initial, or address.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Search] on the map screen.

2. Enter destination information, and Press [OK].

3. Press the desired location on the list.

4. Select a desired button.

• [Set as destination]: Sets the destination.
• [Add tourpoint]: Adds tourpoint after setting destination.
• [Save]: Adds the location to saved place.
• [Nearby info]: Sets the POI category to display on the map screen.
• [Parking]: Displays the parking lot around the location.
• [Call]: Makes a phone call. If phone number is not saved or Bluetooth is not connected, the call is not available.
• [Display off]: Turns off the screen.
• [Web manual]: Displays the QR code for the manual of corresponding function.
• [Split screen]: Displays the split screen.

5. Press [Set as destination].

6. Press a desired route.

• [Recommended]: Guide the optimal route to the destination by considering the real-time traffic information, distance and cost.
• [Alternative]: Guide the alternative route to the destination.
• [Add tourpoint]: Edit the route by adding a tourpoint.
• [Avoidance options]: Edit the route by setting the route options you want to avoid.
• [Route options]: Set the preferred route opton you want.

,Note

The [Avoidance options] is changed to the [Route options] when activating Genesis connected services. When the destination is not set, press [h] > [Search] at the bottom of the map screen to move to search screen.

Setting destinations by previous destinations

Set a previous destination as a destination.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Previous destinations] on the map screen.

2. Press the desired location in the list.

Setting destinations by saved place

Set the saved places as a destination.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] on the map screen.

2. Press the desired place in the list.
3. Refer to step 4-6 of "Setting destinations by search" for next steps.

Setting destination with home/office

Set the places saved as home/office as a destination.

1. Press [Menu] > [Destination] > [Saved places] > [Favourites] > [Home] or [Office] on the map screen.

2. Refer to step 4-6 of "Setting destinations by search" for next steps.

Setting destinations by POI

Set a destination through various facility categories.

1. Press [Navigation Menu] > [Nearby POI] on the home screen.

2. Press a desired facility.

• [Along route]: Search the facility in neighboring area of route.
• [Near current position]: Search the facility in neighboring area of the current vehicle location.
• [Near destination]: Search the facility in neighboring area of destination or tourpoint.
• [Near scroll mark]: Search the facility in neighboring area of selected location.

3. Press the desired place in the list.

Setting destinations via scroll

Set the place marked on the map as a destination.

1. Select a desired location or push touchpad to up/down/left/right on the map screen. The location is marked at the centre of the map.

2. Press [Menu].

,Note

If the map is moved by scroll, the map is fixed and does not move even when the vehicle moves. Pressing [MAP] on the head unit switches the map to the current location. However, the automatic return is set as [Menu] > [Navigation settings] > [Automated features] > [Automatic return after scrolling], the map is automatically switched to the current location after a certain time period. When the map is moved by scrolling, the location name is displayed at the top of screen.
